Mexican Mobile Consulate Comes to Long Beach This Saturday

Sixth District Councilman Dee Andrews, along with Consul General of Mexico,  Carlos Manuel Sada Solana, are pleased to announce that the Mexican Mobile Consulate is coming to Long Beach, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 11th, at the McBride Teen Center,1520 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Long Beach.

Interested individuals can attend the free event to obtain important documents such as passports and consular ID cards.  Many of Mexican nationals suffer some difficulties getting to the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles in need of an official identification and this event brings everything to the community. “It is a great honor to partner with the City of Long Beach to serve the Mexican citizens. The community program is a great asset that allows us to reach out to our constituents to render our services where they are based. This spares them the time and expense of traveling to our Los Angeles office”, said Consul General of Mexico, Carlos Manuel Sada Solana .

“I am excited to be able to reach out to our strong Long Beach Mexican population to assist them with acquiring these important documents,” said Councilman Andrews.

The event is open to the general public.  All those attending for documents must make an appointment by calling 1-877 MEXITEL (639-4835). The following documents must be brought with you in order to process services: original birth certificate, an effective official identification with the name on the identification the same as it appears on the birth certificate, proof of address in Los Angeles County.
