Lockdown Lifted At Lafayette Elementary

At approximately 7:42 this morning, officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Pine Ave. to assist probation officers with a juvenile arrest. Lafayette Elementary was locked down for precautionary measures for about 45 minutes while officers conducted a search of the area. The suspect is in custody and the lockdown has been lifted at Lafayette Elementary school.
