Officer Involved Shooting Near Long Beach Blvd & 68th Street

Around 6:23 p.m., officers were attempting to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of the 68th Street & Long Beach Blvd. A passenger exited the vehicle & fled on foot. The foot pursuit ensued into an alley and an officer involved shooting occurred. LBFD transported the suspect to a local hospital. The investigation remains ongoing
