Cameron Diaz, Long-time Aquarium of the Pacific supporter has contributed a testimonial for the Aquarium and Pacific Visions campaign

In the second half of 2016, the Aquarium’s Pacific Visions Campaign secured a major gift from The Ahmanson Foundation, a $150,000 grant from California Natural Resources Agency, and nearly $10,000 in donations made at the ticket window by Aquarium visitors. Added with previous donations, the campaign has secured a total of $42 million toward the $53 million goal.
A long-time Aquarium supporter, actress Cameron Diaz has contributed a testimonial for the Aquarium and Pacific Visions campaign. Diaz grew up in Long Beach, and she and her family have supported the Aquarium for more than a decade.

The Pacific Visions wing, slated to open in late 2018, will help Aquarium visitors better understand the challenges our ocean faces and the opportunities it holds and imagine what the future of our planet could look like. This expansion will include a state-of-the-art interactive theater, a larger changing exhibit gallery, and an art gallery. When the Pacific Visions expansion is complete, the Aquarium will have the capacity to serve 2 million visitors annually.
