Monday

Do you and your friends know everything there is to know about the seven kingdoms? If so, Alex’s Bar (2913 E Anaheim St) is hosting a Game of Thrones Trivia night. Get a team of up to six people and test your knowledge of the Iron Throne. Sign-ups start at 8 p.m., and entry is $5 per person to play. Winners receive cash and other prizes.

Tuesday

Live up Tuesday nights the way you are supposed to At The Top (201 Pine Ave) with taco specials, sangria pitchers and salsa. Learn how to step to the beat of salsa music with a complimentary salsa lesson from 7:30-9 p.m. with Francisco Vasquez.

Wednesday

Comedy Realness is back at the Long Beach Laugh Factory (151 S Pine Ave). Enjoy a night full of laughs and free swag. There is a two-drink minimum inside the laugh factory, but tickets are free for people who RSVP. The event runs from 7-10 p.m. Make sure to arrive on time, otherwise, the free guest list will not be honored.

Thursday—Sunday

The Queen Mary Dark Harbor (1126 Queens Hwy) nights are back with more ship mazes, more monsters and a whole lot more scare. This year’s Dark Harbor will include an all-new fourth maze on the haunted ship. Opening night starts on September 28, from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. Friday

Express your creativity with the Definitive Soapbox Open Mic at Fox Coffee House (437 W Willow St). Come engage with a community who loves poetry. This month the Open Mic Night is celebrating their eighth year anniversary and hosting Chingona Fire as their featured poet of the month. Join the celebration with a night of nourishment, poetry and music. The event runs from 7-10 p.m.

Saturday–Sunday
KCRW 89.9 presents Music Tastes Good at Marina Green Park (386 E Shoreline Dr) for a two-day celebration of music, food and art. The festival will feature Ween and Sleater-Kinney headlining Saturday and Sunday, respectively. All ages are welcome and five and under are free.
