Runners and spectators are highly encouraged to take public transit, if possible. Metro’s Blue Line has a stop close to the start/finish line at the First Street Station in downtown Long Beach. There is a bike station at this metro stop.

A water taxi service, Aqualink, will also be free to race participants. The ocean shuttle will depart from the dock at the bow of the Queen Mary starting at 5:30 a.m.; the last shuttle departs at 9:30 a.m. After the race, runners will return via the Passport C bus, which will also be free to race participants.

For motorists: Take the 710 Freeway south to the Downtown/Broadway exit. Take Broadway to Pine Avenue; turn right on Pine, cross Ocean Boulevard and head to the area of the Long Beach Convention Center.

Parking

Parking is available at The Pike ($10 for pre-purchase), at the Expo (90 minutes free for those who show proof of purchase for race day), or Convention Center ($10, no pre-purchase available).

Spectators

Marina Green is the designated Finish Line Festival and reunion area. The best places to meet your family and/or friends is in the beer garden and the entertainment stage (if over age 21), or plan a pre-meeting spot in an obvious location.
