LBPD Seeks Public Help With Multiple Reports Of Vandalism

At approximately 9:30 P.M. last night, The Long Beach Police Department started receiving reports of vehicle and business windows being shot out with a BB gun around the area of Long Beach Boulevard and 8th Street.
Within an hour, reports started coming in around the East Division Naples area of similar incidents.
Multiple police reports have been taken and the investigation remains ongoing. Officers have interviewed witnesses and are searching for surveillance video.
So far there have been approximately 21 incidents of vandalized windows reported throughout the city this evening, however this number is preliminary, as we do not know how many more reports will come in tonight or in the morning when residents may discover their windows vandalized.
Thankfully no reports of injury have been reported related to these incidents.
Based upon the preliminary investigation, the suspect vehicle is described as a 4 door black or blue Honda Civic with a spoiler and chrome tail pipes.
Officers city wide have been notified of this and are on the lookout for the suspects. Two officers have been dedicated to investigating this tonight.
No video or photographs of the suspect vehicle are available at this time.
