Man, 23, shot to death in Long Beach

long beach police lineLBPD officers were dispatched Sunday night around 10:00 p.m. to a shots fired call on Pacific Coast Highway near Pine Avenue.
Arriving officers discovered a male adult subject down in the street who had been struck by gunfire. Long Beach Police Officers performed life saving measures until LBFD paramedics arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced deceased thereafter. Andre Berero, 23, of Long Beach died at a hospital, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.     Another case for banning guns from people who use weapons for purposes other than for defending themselves from those who own illegal guns.
