Election Results: Signal Hill City Council Race Too Close To Call

Yesterday, residents in Signal Hill went to the polls to elect three City Council members.  With 9 candidates vying for the position, the top three candidates to receive the most votes will be elected to a 4 year term.

As of last night, the race was too close to call.  Here is a breakdown of vote totals by the top 4 candidates:

Lori Woods (incumbent) 491 votes
Ed Wilson (incumbent) 448 votes
Robert Copeland (newcomer) 444 votes
Keir Jones (newcomer) 437 votes

Vote by mail ballots received by March 10th and postmarked by March 7th or earlier still need to be counted along with 76 provisional ballots, and 89 vote by mail ballots received at the polls.
