Downtown Long Beach Alliance Offering Entrepreneur and Small Business Education Series

Starting Saturday April 1st, The Downtown Long Beach Alliance (DLBA) is offering a free six-week Entrepreneur and Small Business Education Series in partnership with California State University, Long Beach (CSULB).  This series will consist of 10 modules ranging from Writing Your Marketing Plan to Negotiating a Lease. 

Here is a Full List of Classes and Locations with all sessions starting promptly at 8 a.m. and ending at 12 p.m:

WEEK 1: THE VALUE OF A BUSINESS PLAN, APRIL 1

WEEK 6: MAY 6, PITCH WORKSHOP

Attendees who complete all 6 training sessions will have an opportunity to qualify for the DLBA’s Small Business and Job Creation Grant, which will award recipients up to $2,500 of matching funds raised by the applicant for a total of up to $5,000 to help get business ideas off the ground if a person attends and completes all 6 weeks of training.
