Seven People Rushed To Local Hospital After Overturned Vehicle Accident On 710 Freeway

At 10:23 pm Long Beach Fire responded to an overturned vehicle on the southbound 710 freeway near Pico Avenue. It appears that the vehicle rolled off the 6th Street bridge just after exiting the 710 freeway.

There were 7 patients in the vehicle that were triaged by firefighters. 1 immediate patient, 1 delayed patient, and 5 minor patients. The patients ages ranged from 16-18 years old.

One patient had to be removed from the vehicle using the “Jaws of Life.” All 7 patients were transported to local area trauma centers. The Long Beach Police Department remains onscene investigating the incident.
