2 Dead, 1 Wounded in Long Beach Shooting

Two men killed and one injured in a triple shooting that occurred around midnight in North Long Beach.

Police officers were called to “several gunshot victims” at 53rd Street and Orange Avenue, said Long Beach police.

LBPD responded to the scene and found one man dead from at least one gunshot wound to the torso. A second injured man was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

A third man with a gunshot wound to the upper body was transported to a hospital. His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening, police said.

No descriptions of suspects were available. It was immediately unknown what led to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
