The Cambodian New Year is one of the most important festivities celebrated by Cambodians in Cambodia as well as by the Cambodian diaspora all over the world. This year, we are ushering in the “Year of the Pig” according to the Cambodian zodiac, which features a 12-year cycle with each represented by a specific animal.

Cam-CC, an umbrella organization, represented by all the major community organizations in Long Beach, is proud to host these festivities in partnership with the City of Long Beach to showcase our rich Cambodian cultural heritage to the Long Beach community at large. It will also be an occasion for our younger Cambodian American generations to experience the Cambodian Traditional New Year Celebration. There will be traditional games, traditional and modern dances, singing and dancing with live bands, Buddhist ceremony, and much more. There will be booths for non-profit service-organizations, commercial vendors as well as Cambodian authentic ethnic foods.

As a private event, although all community members are welcome, entrance to the area is restricted to the ticket holders ONLY. Ticket can be purchased in advance at several Cambodian restaurants/stores at $27 per vehicle (park entrance fee included), or $30 per vehicle on the day of the event.
