Man wounded in drive-by shooting near Market and Pine

Man in critical condition after drive-by shooting in North Long Beach.

LBPD Officers were dispatched to the area of Pine and Market at approx 6:30 pm, for an assault with a deadly weapon

Suspects are two male black men in their 20s last seen in a white Toyota Camry four door sedan being driven by a female latina heading southbound Pine Ave.

The calling party reported a “friend” was shot. Responding officers located a male adult unconscious with gunshot wounds 

The victim was transported to a local hospital by Long Beach Fire.

Market between pine and LB Blvd are closed to traffic pending investigation 

Detectives are on scene investigating. We will have more when available.
