Soulful summer at Smokin’ Grooves 2019

Long Beach will be putting a groove on things this Summer for the second annual Smokin’ Grooves Festival at the Queen Mary. R&B artist, Usher, will be closing out the show, as well as returning headliner, Erykah Badu.

Smokin’ Grooves started as a festival in the 1990’s, where hip-hop met soul. Returning in 2018, the festival included some new school artists, influenced by the old school, for all generations to enjoy.

This event is June 15 and tickets will be on sale this Saturday, May 4 at 12pm PST. General admission tickets start at $125, VIP at $250, and cabanas with bottle service at $1600. For more information on tickets, visit their website at www.smokingroovesfest.com.
This will be one of the many festivals hosted at the Queen Mary Events Park this year, along with One Love Cali Reggae, Just Like Heaven, Once Upon a Time in the LBC, and Tropicalia.
Tickets go fast so waiting on their website prior to noon is recommended. Last year, Goldenvoice successfully sold out their general admission tickets the first hour they were released. This is expected this year, as well.
