The Port of Long Beach, the 2nd most active port in the nation, has now released their schedule of tours. Schedule and tour times can be found below. The 90-minute narrated excursion will have guests get close to operations, which includes the receptions, process and unloading of containers. The towering cranes can be seen from afar. There is new infrastructure can be seen along with projects such as the Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement. There is a slight possibility to catch a glimpse of local marine life. Lastly, the tour will highlight the green programs the Port has implemented to reduce the environmental impact of operations.
