UPDATE: Six Shot, Grandmother Killed in Long Beach Shooting
A 57-Year Old Grandmother was shot to death, five others wounded in a shooting outside a Long Beach bar early Saturday morning, the Long Beach Police said.
Long Beach PD responded to Pacific Coast Highway and Canal Avenue at 12:38 a.m. to find multiple victims with gunshot wounds, Long Beach Police Lt. Richardson said.
Long Beach Fire responded to treat the victims.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. That victim has been identified as 57-Year old Jacqueline Glasby of Ontario. Five other people were transported to a local hospital, three victims sustained non-life threatening injuries. Two others are in critical and stable conditions.
According to Investigators, there were an unknown number of suspects involved in this shooting. They are currently in the process of interviewing witnesses and any leads that could help with a description of the suspects. At this time there is no one in custody.
