Largest Craft Beer Festival in California Comes to Long Beach
Long Beach is notoriously known for their craft beer, whether it’d be at a local bar or a taproom. Breweries such as Beachwood BBQ, Belmont Brewing, Long Beach Beer Lab, and other breweries will be gathering for the Summit Beer Festival from September 12-14.
This event is ideal for craft beer enthusiasts to try over 170 breweries and 500 different beers across California without the travel time of going from one taproom to the next. Guests can also eat complimenting foods with their beers from a number of the restaurant breweries. A variety of foods will be served from Pizza Port’s pies to Beachwood BBQ’s smokehouse entrees.
Hosted by a non-profit organization called the California Craft Brewers Association, their end goal is to gather, educate, and expand this exceptionally peaking industry. On Thursday 12th and Friday 13th September, the summit will be having their expo at the Long Beach Convention Center, following with the festival on September 14th at the Marina Green Park.
General admission and weekend passes for this event can be found on their website at www.californiacraftbeer.com.
