LBPD seeking public’s help in identifying two grand theft suspects

The Long Beach Police Department’s Burglary Detail is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects believed to be involved in multiple grand thefts in the City of Long Beach and other cities regionally and other locations across the country.

The suspects are described as male, approximately 45 to 50-years-old, and female, approximately 45 to 49-years-old, driving a newer-model black Cadillac Escalade.

On May 31, 2019, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the two suspects entered a business located at 4200 E. Carson St. and stole multiple items including hair appliances and miscellaneous cosmetics. On that same day at approximately 5:45 p.m., the suspects entered another store location located at 7401 Carson Blvd. and stole similar merchandise items.

Through the investigation, video footage was located and displayed the two suspects entering the store and the female suspect grabbing the merchandise and placing the items under her clothing. In both instances, the suspects were then seen exiting the store without paying for the concealed items.

The female suspect is known to several other store locations in Los Angeles County and Orange County and has previously stolen items and concealed them under her clothing.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents are encouraged to contact Burglary Detective Daniel Martinez at (562) 570-7392.
