7.1 Earthquake in Ridgecrest felt in Long Beach
A magnitude of 7.1 earthquake was felt in Long Beach around 8.20pm on Friday 5th July 2019. The quake centered around the same area as the previous one in the Ridgecrest in Mojave Desert.
This one trembled after barely two days at a magnitude of 6.4. The initial earthquake caused minor damages and injuries at the epicenter. This one tonight shook Southern California for approximately 40 seconds and is at present the largest since 1999.
