Shooting post 4th July fireworks in Wrigley

On Friday 5th, 2019 at approximately 6:40 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of W Burnett St regarding a report of a shooting to a residence. Public Information Officer, Shauna Dandoy, describes how upon arrival, officers contacted a female adult victim who stated a bullet had gone through her window last night. Officers recovered a bullet inside of the residence and no injuries were reported nor have any victims come forward. The suspect(s) information or motive for the shooting is unknown at this time and investigation is ongoing.
