Athletic Director Brian Walsh Leaves St. Anthony
La Salle College Preparatory in Pasadena gains a new athletic director (as well as many other roles) who resigned from St. Anthony High School in Long Beach.
Brian Walsh was a proactive employee at St. Anthony, not only working as an athletic director, but also serving as a dean, assistant principal, football coach, and teacher.
Walsh’s career at St. Anthony had been hailed as successful and La Salle is pleased to have hired an AD that is well known in the CIF Southern Section MVP AD program. The Saints won eight CIF-SS championships, nine CIF-SS individual championships, and 45 league championships across all sports in his 16 years as an AD.
Walsh bled purple and white for the Saints since birth, as he would show up to every home again of every sport as an AD, as well as his three siblings and parents’ alma mater are from St. Anthony.
Walsh is a CSULB alum, where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in kinesiology with a minor in psychology, and received his Master’s in sports management.
