Body Found Washed Ashore in Peninsula

LBPD is investigating a body that washed up in the Alamitos Peninsula Ocean Boulevard and 55th Place Wednesday evening. The body was found by LBFD Lifeguard just before 6pm.

Detectives are working to determine the identity of the deceased.

Police did not immediately release additional details, this is an on ongoing investigation.
