UPDATE: Man Shot and Killed in North Long Beach
A man in his 40’s was gunned down just after 7:15pm tonight. The shooting occurred inside of an apartment building on the 6000 block of Linden. Long Beach Police arrived to a male with a gunshot wound to the head.
The decedent has been identified as 57-year-old Reginald Davis of Long Beach.

Witnesses say the saw a male suspect seen running through the complex. A white sedan was also seen fleeing the scene from the area after the shooting.
Homicide Detectives and Los Angeles County Coroner Investigators responded to the scene for the investigation. There is no suspect information at this time. The investigation is ongoing to determine the motive of the shooting and if the victim and the suspect(s) were known to each other.
Preliminary information revealed an unknown number of people left the area immediately after the shooting, some on foot and others in vehicles.
