Shoreline Village was taken over by the living dead at Zombie Walk
On Saturday, Oct. 26th, Shoreline Village was taken over by the living dead.
The annual Zombie Walk is a free event that brings people (alive or not) to downtown Long Beach. Live music, vendors, a walk/shuffle down Rainbow Harbor. A family and pet-friendly event, costumes were encouraged.
The event kicked off with a children’s Halloween party by the LB Littles on the lawn near the Yard House and ran from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Vendors were open throughout the evening. From 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., Thrill the World performed ‘Thriller’ dances.
Marguerita Kushara, the bone reader, was available for readings and the Zombie Band Unkle Zombie and DJ Delvek Entertainment provided music.
Professional and amateur scarers roamed the harbor with zombies and classic scary movie villains like Freddy Kreuger and Ghostface.
The titled walk began at 8 p.m. and lasted one hour.
