Man shot near MacArthur Park in Long Beach

A man was shot near Anaheim and Gundry at MacArthur park just after 12:00pm today. Long Beach Police officers responded to the 1300 block of E. Anaheim St. regarding a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim with non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his lower torso said Long Beach Police PIO Shaunna Dandoy.

Long Beach Fire responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition

The suspects are described as three adult males and are outstanding

Motive for the shooting is currently unknown

Gang Detail detectives are responding to the scene

The investigation is ongoing
