Body Found Washed Ashore on Coast of Long Beach

On December 27, 2019 at approximately 2:10 p.m., Long Beach Police officers responded to the area of Coronado Ave. and E. Ocean Blvd. regarding a report of a dead body.

Upon arrival, officers located the body of an adult male near the water line.

Based on the preliminary investigation, no foul play is suspected at this time, Jennifer De Prez Long Beach Police PIO said.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office will be responding to the scene and will be determining the official cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
