CSULB Ranked As One Of The State’s Best Colleges

California  State University, Long Beach has been recognized as one of the “10 Best Colleges in California in 2020” in a new list compiled by the online magazine, Money. The institutions making the list scored highly on a survey of affordability, quality of education, and student outcomes.

This follows Money’s rankings from this past fall that named Long Beach State as the No. 10 “Best Public College in the Nation” and the No. 13 for “Best College for Your Money”.

CSULB is one of the biggest colleges in California State University system, with 32,000 undergraduates and known to be an affordable institution. The university offers 63 undergraduate, 65 graduate, and 4 doctoral degree programs divided into 8 colleges

“I am so proud to serve with our faculty and staff who are recognized for high impact educational experiences that prepare students for journeys to success and accelerate their socioeconomic mobility,”  said CSULB President Jane Close Conoley in a statement. “Each year, we work to increase diversity while removing barriers to equity of opportunity, retention and graduation while providing superior teaching, research, creative activity and action for the public good.”
