One male shot near PCH and Pacific in Long Beach

On 5/29/20 at approximately 12:35 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Pine Avenue and Pacific coast Highway for a report of a shooting.

Once on scene, officers located a male adult victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Long Beach Fire responded and transported the victim to a local hospital according to LBPD PIO Arantxa Chavarria.

The suspect was described as a male adult fleeing the scene prior to officers’ arrival. LBPD Gang Detectives are on scene investigating and officers are still processing the scene

Traffic on Pine at 16th and PCH were temporarily closed for traffic but are now re-opening.
