3-Year-Old and Adult Male Shot in Long Beach

On Sunday at 10:45pm Long Beach Police officers were called to 1100 block of E 10th Street regarding a shooting where a male 3-yr-old and a male adult had been struck by gunfire.

Both victims were transported to local hospitals where they are now in stable condition.

LBPD detectives responded to the scene and quickly learned the suspect’s whereabouts. He was taken into custody this morning in the City of Cypress. The suspect, a male adult, is believed to be a relative of the victims but motivation for the shooting is still unknown.
