Long Beach Fire Extract Woman From Vehicle After Crash At Port Of Long Beach
On Wednesday around 8PM, Long Beach Fire Department responded to the Port of Long Beach for a woman in her 60’s was pinned inside a truck, with a shipping container top handler on top of the vehicle.
LBFD Urban Search and Rescue Task Force and truck company heavy rescue crews successfully extricated the patient and was transported by LBFD Paramedics to a local area hospital.
The woman was trapped for about 15 minutes before being extracted.
It was not immediately known how the vehicle became trapped under the truck.
