The Children’s Village will bring all of MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach pediatric specialties under one roof
It takes a village to care for sick children, and MemorialCare Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach is beginning our journey to build the Cherese Mari Laulhere Children’s Village. When completed in 2021, the Children’s Village will be an 80,000 sq. ft., four-story building on the Miller Children’s & Women’s campus that provides a one-stop-shop approach to care.
As one of only eight free-standing children’s hospitals in California, we treat more than 65,000 children who need ongoing specialized follow-up care. Currently, Miller Children’s & Women’s provides ongoing care for patients in a variety of medical offices throughout Long Beach.
The unique setting of the Children’s Village will bring all of Miller Children’s & Women’s pediatric specialties under one roof, allowing families to receive all the care they need in one easy to access location.
Medical care doesn’t end when a child leaves the hospital. Patients will be seen at the Children’s Village for a variety of reasons — from a one-time consultation to treatments for acute, chronic and surgical conditions.
