Daily Highlights
- A public-facing Police Department employee assigned to Port Patrol Division has tested positive for COVID-19. The employee, who is not a Long Beach resident, was last at work on Jan. 27. They are now recovering at home.
- Long Beach Airport (LGB) recently achieved accreditation from the leading trade organization for airports for its commitment to ensuring the health and safety of its passengers and employees since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Long-Term Care Facility Case Information:
- A total of3,201 positive cases have been confirmed at LTCFs in the city since the start of the pandemic (see attachment).
