President Biden Visit to cause Traffic Delays in Long Beach Today

Long Beach, CA – People traveling through Long Beach are advised to expect traffic delays throughout the City. Street closures will be in effect and congestion is expected from Monday, September 13, 2021 through Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

President Joe Biden plans to speak at a rally for Governor Gavin Newsom’s recall election rally at 6:00pm tonight at LBCC.

Periodic road closures and traffic congestion will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, September 13, through noon on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Please be advised to access the downtown area, visitors may use 3rd Street or 7th Street. Employers are encouraged to consider telecommuting for staff during these times.
