LB Celebrates St Patrick’s Day
It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day and Long Beach Local News has compiled a list of 10 different events for you to enjoy.
An ‘Almost St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl’ will take place in Downtown Long Beach on Saturday, March 12 from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to crawl their way through St. Paddy’s with specials on green beer, cocktails, green fun, green games, green prizes, and malarkey. At least one member of a group will need a mobile device to conveniently load in the map, schedules, and certain specials. Tickets can be purchased online here.
Hella Gallery will host a St. Patrick’s Day Painting Party on March 13 featuring a two-hour painting class. All ages and painting abilities are welcome and beverages are available with a minimum donation. The event will start at 2 p.m. and tickets are $45 per person. To purchase a ticket, click here.
2nd and PCH will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day on March 17 with live music from local artists throughout the day. Local performers will play a blend of traditional Irish music on the center’s grand staircase featuring professional bagpiper Dave Champagne from 1:30 p.m- 2:15 p.m. The Long Beach-based Irish band The Peatheads will be performing from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit their website here.
Waters Edge Winery will host their own St. Patrick’s Day festivities featuring $5 beers all night, DJ sets, games, giveaways and other entertainment. This entire event will take place from 5 p.m- 9 p.m. and dinner will take place from 6 p.m- 8:30 p.m. If someone would like to participate in these festivities, they would need to make a reservation. In addition to the ‘Almost St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl’, a larger crawl called the Pub Crawl and Block Party will be held at The Harbor at 130 Pine Ave. This will be the largest St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl in Long Beach with access and drink discounts at over 10 different venues. Tickets will come with a pub crawl kit that includes drink coupons, free welcome shot vouchers and a map of all participating Long Beach Bars. Last but not least, a great number of Irish bars in Long Beach will provide a great atmosphere on St. Patrick’s Day including Auld Dubliner, Shenanigans, KC Branaghan’s and Gallagher’s Pub and Grill.
