Two Wounded in Long Beach Shooting Incident

Police responded to reports of a shooting on Thursday evening at 6:46PM near Atlantic and 61st Street.

Upon arrival, LBPD found two individuals with gunshot wounds (GSWs), one sustained to the upper body and the other to the lower body.

LBFD immediately began medical treatment for the 2 shooting victims.

LBPD arrested multiple suspects possibly connected with the incident.
The arrests took place on the 6100 block of Linden Ave, in close proximity to the scene of the shooting.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation by LBPD as they work to determine the motive and sequence of events leading up to the incident.

The identities suspects have not been disclosed at this time.

Residents in the area are urged to remain vigilant and cooperate with authorities as they continue their investigation into this disturbing occurrence in North Long Beach.
