A man was stabbed during an argument Tuesday morning outside the Gaucho Beach in Long Beach, according to police.

At about 10:15 a.m., LBPD responded to the 700 block of East Shoreline Drive after reports of a stabbing. Officers found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
LBFD transported the victim to a hospital in stable condition.
Police determined the stabbing happened during an argument with two homeless men, one was arrested nearby on suspicion of the attack.
The stabbing occurred near the newly built Gaucho Beach the Alamitos Beach Concession Stand, a $10.1 million city project constructed in preparation for the 2028 Olympic Games.
The project was funded through the City of Long Beach Tidelands Fund, which is restricted to improvements in coastal and tidal areas.
