$100,000 Hyundai Grant Supports Childhood Cancer Care in Long Beach

To kick off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, children and teens receiving care at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital transformed a white Hyundai into a colorful display of “Handprints of Hope.”

Hyundai Hope on Wheels presented a $100,000 grant to the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Institute. Wade Meckler and the Los Angeles Angels also supported the cause. The handprint-covered vehicle will travel nationwide as a symbol of hope and resilience in the fight against childhood cancer.
