Two teenagers were shot Saturday night in Long Beach, leaving a teenage boy in critical but stable condition, according to police.
Long Beach police responded to the 1900 block of Lemon Avenue at about 9:13 p.m. on Sept. 26 after reports of a shooting. Officers found a teenage boy and teenage girl suffering from gunshot wounds.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel transported both victims to local hospitals. Police said the girl suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The boy was listed in critical but stable condition.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances and motive behind the shooting. Police have not released information about a possible suspect.
